Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Andy Wang is a technologist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience. He co-founded GTI IoT Technology, where he led the company as Chief Technology Officer. Andy helped grow GTI from a 2-person founding team to a profitable company with 150+ employees. GTI focused on low-power wireless IoT systems for industrial and smart-city applications, and it has deployed over 500,000 IoT devices to date. Andy graduated with a Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Pablo Acosta, VP Engineering of Prescient Devices

Dr. Pablo Acosta is a senior technologist whose extensive and comprehensive experience includes challenging high-speed mixed-signal IC design, signal processing algorithms, EDA tool development, and authoring industry standards. Pablo’s multi-million-dollar products have been used in a broad range of sectors, including consumer, professional video, and networking. Pablo received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and is the principal inventor in four patents.

Mark is a technology sales and marketing executive with 25+ years of experience at companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500, including his own Silicon Valley-based internet appliance company. Mark has led hundreds of successful growth initiatives in his career resulting in over $100 million in incremental revenue as well as built distributed, world-wide organizations. Mark has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Ashish Yadav, Director of Software Development

Ashish Yadav leads the full-stack development of Prescient Devices’ IoT design automation platform — Prescient Designer. He has extensive experience in distributed IoT systems, applications, and various software and hardware technologies and holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Merced.

Annie Xu, Director of Digital Communications

Annie Xu

Intrigued by how humans perceive and interact with technology, Annie combines visual communication strategies with digital humanities methods to create digital experiences for users. She brings perceptive insights from her academic research, along with her experience in branding and graphic design. She seeks better ways to bridge the design of the immaterial digital space with tactile understanding of the physical environment. Annie graduated with a MSc in Digital Humanities from University College London.



Charles Sodini, Ph.D.
Board Member

Dr. Charles Sodini is the LeBel Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Charlie is an IEEE fellow and an expert in microelectronics, integrated circuits and systems, and medical electronic devices. He is a co-founder of SMaL Camera Technologies and has served on a variety of industry boards. Most recently, Charlie founded and leads the Medical Electronic Device Realization Center (MEDRC), which works to establish a partnership among the microelectronic industry, the medical device industry, medical professionals, and MIT.


Saqib Syed
Board Member

Saqib Syed is an entrepreneur and software executive with over 25 years of experience as an operator building high tech companies. Saqib is currently focused on investments in the areas of cloud/IT service management, security, IoT, and application development / management, helping companies find the right product/market fit and later building a solid platform for Go-To-Market.  Previously Saqib served as a Co-Founder / CEO of ArrayIQ, advised many companies on their Go-To-Market and M&A strategy, and led Products as an executive at CA Technologies and BMC Software. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Michigan and MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College.


Kush Gulati, Ph.D.

Dr. Kush Gulati is the co-founder, president, and CEO of Omni Design Technologies, which is a developer of disruptive, ultra-low power semiconductor embedded circuits. Prior to Omni, Kush was the co-founder, president, and CEO of Cambridge Analog Technologies, and led to its acquisition by Maxim Integrated. Kush also helped co-found Engim and was an executive at Bitwave Semiconductor. Kush graduated with a Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Douglas Levin

Doug Levin is a business leader, technologist, and serial entrepreneur. He is the sole founder and first CEO of Black Duck Software. Earlier in his career Doug held senior management positions at Microsoft Corporation over a nine-year period. Today he is an Executive-in-Residence (XIR) at the Harvard Business School and mentor for the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund and MIT Venture Mentoring Service. Doug also serves on the Board of Directors of several technology companies and as an advisor to an array of young companies in the IoT, cybersecurity and AI/machine learning segments.


Karim Lakhani, Ph.D.

Karim R. Lakhani is the Charles E. Wilson Professor of Business Administration and the Dorothy and Michael Hintze Fellow at the Harvard Business School. He specializes in technology management, innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI). His innovation-related research is centered around his role as the founder and co-director of the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard and as the principal investigator of the NASA Tournament Laboratory. He is the co-author of "Competing in the Age of AI" (2020), a book published by the Harvard Business Review Press.


Ruth Taylor

Ruth Taylor is a business leader, technologist and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience building technology businesses. She held senior business leadership roles at IBM ranging from go to market, product management, business strategy, product development, product marketing and programming. Ruth’s role in mergers and acquisitions led to the successful acquisition and integration of numerous IBM acquisitions. She was a venture capitalist investor with Southeast Interactive Technologies. Ruth serves on Advisory Boards of young companies in the areas of Kubernetes, Cloud and IoT. She is an officer of several Boards of Directors, including for industry and diverse community groups. Ruth has an MBA from University of North Carolina; Master’s of Engineering; Batchelor of Mathematics and Batchelor of Environmental Design degrees.
